Our training company, with many years of experience both as users and as lecturers and instructors, invites you to courses on cranes. In the classes, you will learn the necessary knowledge about these devices and receive practical training to gain the authorisations.
Overhead cranes are handling machines used to lift and lower loads using special hoists. Like many other machines of this kind, they are subject to technical supervision. To work with them, you need a crane course, which you can take at our training centre.
These machines, or cranes, have a system that moves on two tracks. They are used to move goods mainly in production halls and warehouses, to a limited extent and on tracks.
Overhead cranes are divided into several types:
- tracked or bridged - this type runs on tracks,
- suspended - cranes are suspended from underneath on tracks,
- Gantry - the unit runs on tracks on the ground, while the bridge is over the tracks.
In order to operate any of the types, it is necessary to take the appropriate course in order to become qualified. During the theoretical classes, the trainee learns in detail about the chosen type of cranes and undergoes a practical course in their operation.
We can distinguish between two types of courses, in line with the requirements of the Technical Supervisory Authority:
- general-purpose cranes, hoists and winches,
- general and special-purpose cranes, hoists and winches.
Each course concludes with an examination before the Office of Technical Inspection. This tests knowledge and practical skills in the use of overhead travelling cranes, and with a positive result, the trainee is authorised to use these devices.
The courses cover the following topics:
- technical supervision of machinery for a selected type of crane,
- construction and operation of machinery,
- crane operator duties,
- health and safety rules,
- practical use of cranes.
We offer extensive theory and machine classes. Participants will gain theoretical knowledge and learn how to operate cranes correctly and safely.
