What are the topics of the training?

The training courses are devoted to the operation and maintenance of devices under technical supervision, as well as energy and electrical issues. We also offer courses in the field of health and safety, first aid, altitude training, for welders, welders, scaffolders and others. Details and dates are published on our website.

What will I learn in the course?

First of all, the safe operation of the device, which is included in the training program. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the curricula on the pages of individual courses. The scope of issues is consistent with the requirements of units conducting external examinations, the completion of which gives the right to work, certificates that are honored in Poland and can be recognized in the international arena when an additional grate is issued according to separate arrangements.

Will I learn how to use the devices in practice?

Yes, the courses provide for the number of hours of practical classes appropriate for a given level of advancement. According to the program, this time can be shortened or extended according to the needs of the student and the group. Classes are held in the hall and maneuvering yard of the Center, using its technical base or - in the case of closed training - in another place agreed with the client

The technical inspection guidelines define the course and evaluation criteria of the practical exam, the maneuvering yard, storage areas, activities before, during and after work, and many other issues related to the course of this process. When training at the ERGON Center, we provide appropriate conditions and minimum requirements for the training process and for examining / checking the qualifications of people.

On what devices is the learning of practical skills carried out?

These are representative devices for a given type, for example, A and B type platforms, boom and scissor lifts, slow-moving and self-propelled in the case of mobile platforms. Courses in the operation of forklifts and telescopic loaders are carried out with the use of ordinary Toyota, JCB, Jungheinrich, Linde front trucks, as well as variable-reach trucks and lifting the operator. Courses for crane operators are carried out with the use of gantry cranes. The center has its own training halls with access to devices such as in Warsaw-Ursus, Katowice and Krakow.

How many hours are the courses?

The number of hours varies depending on the topic of the training. Within a given topic, there are also courses with more or less hours - for beginners or those who just want to supplement their knowledge before the exam.

For detailed information, please visit the pages with the descriptions of individual training courses.

The training program is agreed and allows for the extension or reduction of training time for individuals or the entire group, this approach guarantees high efficiency and ergonomics of education. In practice, this means that we can, if needed, train faster groups of employees reported by employers who expect it. As long as these people already have practical experience, e.g. on the basis of the practice they carried out as an assistant to the authorized operator. It also means that we can significantly extend this time, so that the employer screenshots people who do not have any practical experience in operating a trolley, crane, platform or crane. The center can always devote enough time to people who have contact with the device for the first time in order to educate them for the safe operation of the device.

However, it must not be forgotten that the devices are very diverse, small and large, and the employer or the future client cannot skip on-the-job training in the type of device that the employee is to operate. This obligation results from the general regulations on occupational health and safety training - the training sessions last at least 8 hours, but there is no time limit, so in the case of, for example, very large cranes, they may last several weeks.

How many hours are planned for practical classes?

The time that a given person will need to master the practical skills may vary, so when registering, we determine the level of experience of the course participant. On this basis, we plan classes in groups with more or less hours devoted to practice. Also, the instructor himself, seeing how the participant copes with the operation of the devices, may decide that he does not have any more time to learn.

Will the Center check my learning progress?

Yes, participants' knowledge is checked before the course starts and then progress is assessed during the course and at the end of the course. Passing an internal examination / test and assessment of practical skills is a condition for admission to an external examination giving professional qualifications.

Are technical trainings in the Center and external exams before the committee difficult? Is the amount of knowledge to be learned large?

In this type of training, the amount of knowledge and skills to be acquired is quite large. This is dictated by the examination requirements of the units granting the qualification certificates. The process of checking qualifications is impartial and periodically modified. We update the training programs on an ongoing basis and coordinate them with the examining institutions in order to ensure high quality of education / teaching and the highest possible pass rate among our students. We always try to learn based on current regulations and standards.

How much will I pay for the training?

For detailed information on the price of a given training course, please contact the Center. We are able to present the exact price after obtaining basic information from the customer.

What does the price of the training depend on?

The price depends, among other things, on the time remaining until the start of the training, on the number of places, on the level of advancement of the participant and on whether more people are enrolled in the training (for example, employees of one company).

How do I pay?

Payments to individual customers: after registration, we send you a payment link. The available payment methods are the PayNow system from mbank which also includes the BLIK option - this solution is similar to the very well-known Przelewy24 system. Are the classes organized all over Poland?

You can participate in open training at the Center's headquarters in Warsaw or in branches in other cities in Poland, according to the training schedule.

Can lecturers and instructors conduct training at the client's premises?

Yes, the statute and the number of people in the teaching staff allow for training outside the Center. Then, it is the customer's responsibility to provide teaching and technical facilities. The devices for practical classes provided by the customer should have a valid maintenance technician's inspection and periodic technical inspection. The client also provides security measures during the classes. If you are interested in closed training for companies, please contact us about the location.

Are there any additional training dates for companies?

Yes, we arrange the dates of classes for company employees directly with the client.

Is it possible to complete the classes in the form of e-learning?

We provide webinars on our educational platform to individuals and companies interested in completing the course remotely. The content provided during the webinars is consistent with the content that participants will get to know in class. The instructor gives a live lecture, tries to include participants in the discussion, asks them questions and tests their knowledge. Distance learning replaces theory classes. In the case of some trainings, it is also necessary to supplement them with a practical part.

What hardware and software are needed to participate in class remotely?

The minimum requirements for attendees of live webinars are:

  • Equipment: computer or laptop not older than 6-7 years old, with installed Windows or Macintosh. Online training participants can also use tablets and smartphones
  • Software: we do not require any additional software to be installed. The platform on which the live webinars are held works like a website, so you only need a regular web browser such as Chrome or Firefox to operate it.

Who are the courses intended for?

The program of the courses has been created for those people who want to improve their professional qualifications and gain new qualifications in the field of operating devices. The center creates training groups for people with no experience and more advanced. The basic requirements for participants are: 18 years of age, minimum basic education and appropriate health condition, confirmed by a doctor at some courses in altitude tests and psychotechnics or with a personally signed statement ensuring proper health.

Can I enroll my employees for training?

Yes, we also organize training for companies. When enrolling your employees for training, you should agree on the form of enrollment: the basic required personal data from the student is: name and surname and PESEL number, contact number and e-mail address education, experience, additional qualifications, for some courses we require a face image for the card / certificate. ,. The center may arrange for the sending of reminders and other information about the course to employees on behalf of the client. The form of data transfer in the case of individuals requires the signing of the GDPR consent in the case of cooperation with companies, in order to ensure the security of data protection, it is recommended to sign an agreement on their processing, then the form of data transfer is agreed, e.g. a password-protected file or providing only names and surnames to generate temporary passwords for logging in by each participant. Each participant will be able to complete their data in the system, print out the necessary signing documents and transfer them to the center.

Can I enroll other people while signing up for the training?

Yes, the capabilities of our registration system provide for such a solution. An individual customer signing up for an open training can simultaneously enroll his colleagues, for example. The person who registers is treated in the system as an entity, and other registered persons - as subordinate to this entity or as separate entities. Please note that this requires consent to the processing of Personal Data of the person concerned, which we are to save.

Can I manage the course without having any experience?

Yes, we also set up groups where participants gain knowledge from scratch as and when they are interested. The thematic scope of such training coincides with the examination requirements.Exceptions are groups for people who wish to obtain a conservator's licence. Participants in such courses are required to have basic knowledge of electrical engineering (e.g. the ability to read schematics), power hydraulics, kinematics, material science. This knowledge can be supplemented in other training courses held at the Centre, e.g. operation and supervision of power equipment (group one).

Does completing the training mean gaining professional qualifications?

Most of the training sessions end with an exam. Only a positive result of such an examination means that the examining body (eg the Office of Technical Inspection or another) has granted the qualifications. In the case of some trainings, the final examination is not planned, because the Polish regulations do not provide for obtaining additional qualifications in this area. Detailed information can be found in the descriptions of the individual courses on our website.

Additionally, we conduct internal exams among our students. During such exams, we check the theoretical knowledge in the form of a test and practical skills of the course participant.

Do I have to sign up for an exam when signing up for a training course?

Registration for the training is tantamount to signing up for the exam. The participant does not have to report to the UDT or another organization to sign up for the exam. It is the Center who does this on his behalf. It also arranges the date of the exam, and then sends participants reminders.

What is the exam process?

What the exam looks like depends on the course topic. In most cases, it is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, the candidate solves a test with closed questions. The practical part consists in talking to the examiner at the device, where the ability to use, prepare for work, and proceed in the event of a failure is checked. The center agrees with the unit checking the qualification the requirements and conditions for conducting the examination. The center has an appropriate hall and maneuvering yard, devices, storage bays, auxiliary devices, health and safety equipment, etc.

What do the qualifications obtained after the course give me?

The acquired qualifications allow you to perform work on a given device or in a given area / profession. The authorizations are valid in Poland and are issued for a specified period of time by the appropriate unit.

How long are the acquired qualifications valid?

Permissions are valid for 5 or 10 years, depending on the type of device. The center, if possible, before the approaching expiry date of the permits, sends students reminders about the need to renew them. We must remember, We must remember that in the case of issuing a certificate or a plastic card from the Center, according to separate international ISO standards (in order for the student to apply for recognition in other nations), the validity period of the certificates is from 1 to 3 years. The time is adjusted to the requirements of periodic training in a given nation and depending on the result of checking knowledge and skills, as well as the form of training and several other variables.

Can the qualification certificate be withheld / withdrawn?

The institution issuing the qualification certificate may withhold or withdraw it in the event of a breach of regulations or work safety rules.

Are the allowances issued in Poland also valid abroad?

If you are working abroad, check which law applies in your country. If there is no regulation of the profession, even just completing the training may suffice to work. Our experience shows, however, that the authorizations issued by UDT or other Polish institutions are not recognizable everywhere, and therefore are not honored even after translation. This is the case, for example, in Norway or Switzerland. On the other hand, in the EU countries there is a directive under which the Member States should mutually recognize their professional qualifications. To be sure that the document you have is sufficient to work abroad, we recommend purchasing an additional qualification certificate issued by the UDT - CERT unit. In our Center, you can also buy a certificate - a certificate of completion of training according to international standards. Such a document is widely recognized in many countries.

I have not found an answer to my question. How can I contact you?
